4 Nights, 5 Days
Endless Circle Safari
Day 1, Night 1
Port Elizabeth to Addo Elephant National Park and Zuurberg Mountains
Early pick up at place of residence in Port Elizabeth and depart for the nearby Addo Elephant National Park with its population of close to 700 free roaming African Elephants, herds of Buffalo, Lions, Black Rhino and the shy Leopard, the legendary Big 5, amongst the many species of antelope, Zebra and Warthog as well as the rich and diverse bird and reptile life that inhabit this the third largest National Park and one of the most popular in South Africa.
After entering the Park, we take an opportunity for a comfort break, check in and immediately start our game viewing experience searching for the rich diversity of wildlife in the thickets and on the open plains while learning about the animals and the habitat in which they live.
Reaching main camp, we stop for light lunch before departing for the nearby Zuurberg mountain range. This is an exciting and picturesque experience as we negotiate the rough track in our sturdy 4 x 4 Toyota Landcruiser safari vehicle.
We climb the historic Zuurberg mountain pass with its spectacular views over the lowlands and valleys below. The pass was constructed in 1849 first by Henry Fancourt White and later completed by Mathew Woodifield.
We descend into the deep valley to meet the three gentle Elephant bulls who will be our close companions for the next hour or so as we walk with the Elephants as they forage in their natural environment of these remote mountains. There are other species such as Giraffe and Zebra who share this Reserve with the Elephants that can be viewed while interacting with them.
After walking with these fascinating animals we gather at the feeding post where you will have the opportunity to feed the Elephants after which they will roam free once again with maybe an opportunity to view them taking a mud bath or a swim at the waterhole.
At the end of the experience we board the safari vehicle to once again return to the Addo Elephant National Park for dinner at the Park's restaurant after a full day of excitement in the African Bush.

Day 2, Night 2
Addo Elephant National Park
Early morning wake up for coffee, tea and rusks and depart for a game drive in the tour vehicle, searching for the African big game. This is the best time to catch the predators wondering the thickets before they lie up for the day.
The awesome Lion live side by side with Warthog, Zebra, Kudu, Eland and Red Hartebeest in this 48 thousand hectare section of the national park.
We return for brunch at the restaurant, spend some time at the nearby waterhole or simply relax at your Cottage before we again prepare for an exciting afternoon game drive in the Alan Tours 4 x 4 Landcruiser searching for Elephants, Eland, Buffalo and the stately Kudu, the males with their huge horns blending into the background.
Having enjoyed an exciting afternoon, a tasty dinner and the magnificent night sky, we make our way to our comfortable beds for a peaceful night’s rest.
